TENNIS Academy
Pat Cash won the men’s singles title at Wimbledon in 1987. He was the youngest tennis player ever to win a singles Davis Cup final, aged just 17. He was ranked world top junior player in 1981 and is one of the few Tennis players to win both junior and senior Wimbledon singles titles. Cash turned professional in 1982 and won his first top-level singles title that year in Melbourne. He was subsequently inducted into the Australian Tennis Hall of Fame. Since his retirement through injury in 1997, Cash has resided mainly in London. He has coached top players including Greg Rusedski and Mark Philippoussis. Cash has also worked as a TV and radio commentator for the BBC, amongst others and is also very involved in charity work.
